Welcome to Whispering Mesa. Located in Northwestern New Mexico off I-40 between Albuquerque and Gallup, we are a bed and breakfast open during December and From June through August. If you are passing through on your last stop before the grandcanyon, touring the fascinating region surrounding El Malpais national monument and El Morro, hunting elk or mule deer or would like to get an intimate look at some of the hidden, lesser known beauty of our area please contact us for reservations and tour information.
'Sno joke. We get a good bit of snow here in the winter and we like to play in it. Join us in our 4 wheel drive as we head out to do some tubing and sledding.

Directions:
We are located near Grants, NM. 70 miles west of Albuquerque. From Grants, take exit 81 off I-40 onto hwy 53 (ice-caves road).
Drive 4 miles to San Rafael and turn right at the first entrance to the village.
Take the first left and drive ca 1/16 of a mile until you see the sign on the
left which says Whispering Mesa guest house.
